Uprooting the yard for a new blooming * Pihan raivausta, uuden kasvua

When I haven´t taken care of my own lot

while working elsewhere,

mine has grown into a wild land.

Go to hell weeds!

I rage in my yard

which is full of shadows

because of runners.

I blame myself from inefficiency

though I have only meant good by given to others.

But You can give those things

that You have learned at Your own home.

I root out weeds one by one,

then I just have to wait

whether my flower treasures have already suffocated

or are they gonna arise into a new bloom.

Is the land dry and fertile,

is the new bliss becoming

only with new soil and planting.

I am the earth, I am in peace.

Everything is growing from inside of me

in time.

Kun oma tontti ollut pitkään hoitamatta

työskennellessäni muualla,

kasvaa oma kotini villinä.

Helvettiin täältä rikkakasvit!

riehun pihallani,

joka rönsyjen vuoksi varjoja täynnä.

Syytän itseäni saamattomuudesta,

hyvää tahtoen olen muille antanut,

vaikka vain sellaista pystyy antamaan,

minkä omassa kodissaan oppinut tai opetellut.

Kitken viidakon yksi kasvi kerrallaan.

Sitten joudun vain odottamaan,

ovatko kukka-aarteeni ehtineet tukehtua kuoliaaksi

vai nousevatko uuteen loistoon.

Onko maa kuiva ja hedelmätön,

tuleeko uusi onni vasta uuden mullan ja kylvön kautta.

Olen maa, olen rauhassa.

Kaikki kasvaa ajallaan sisältäni.
